The yarn I used for the warp was a leftover. I bought it a lot of years ago in a weaving shop in  Leiden.
It came from Norway and it was pure wool.
I did spin the yarn for the weft myself. It was a blend  50% wool /50% mohair.  I enjoyed the spinning.
Dyeing was a challenge.

This is gutter dyeing

Stamping the colour in the yarn

almost there…..

Then the yarn is packed  for the microwave

Tadah…..warp,  ready for my floor loom

the yarn for the weft was done the same way

two nice balls
