It took some time to find a nice blue coloured yarn  for Simon, but here it is.
It feels very soft. Now it is time to make a cardigan from the different parts 🙂 Next,  into the water and the ‘finished touch’ will be the buttons. Two-three days at the most and this one is finished too.

This I’ll take with me for one and a half day spinning……

The total weight of this amount is approximately 350 grams.
The blue nest is: swifter / merino / camel / silk / angelina
The green nest is:  Fries melkschaap / merino / mohair / soy-silk
The white ones: Blue Faced Leicester / baby Camel-tussah silk
The grey is baby Alpaca roving.
It should be enough 😉

Yes, I really won this beautiful blend. It was given by  ‘het wolbeest’  The photo shows blue and green, but it is turquoise and green, my favorite colours.
The blend of  turquoise is Swifter/Merino/Camel / silk and angelina. The green  is ‘Fries-melkschaap’ / Merino, mohair, Camel and soy-silk.
Now I have to decide: spinning or felting?
Not easy…but the blend is so beautiful, I think, in the end,  I will choose for spinning.
The only thing I did was RT a tweet, can you imagine!?
It feels so soft…gorgeous. Thanks Alexandra.

Yes…..I finished my 1 kilo merino tops. I wanted to make a thicker thread and I succeeded.
It has become a really bulky yarn. I named it  ‘Many Coloured’ .
It was Navaho / Navajo plyed and the total length is 1017 m.
Next step: knitting!

Spinning and knitting at the Farm and Country Fair and intending to buy nothing at all…
unfortunately my husband insisted on giving me …… a  huuuuuuge present 🙂
Enough for a cardigan…1 kilo……..
